[Onebrother] Reminder: Vi's work transition party

Dear All,
Thanks for your RSVP to my little party! (It is still OK to stop by if
you didn't RSVP, and last-minute friends & family are welcome too.)

I hope I'll see y'all tomorrow night, Wednesday, at 6:30 PM or
whenever after that in the Temple Mall food court!

I have chess, chinese chess, super checkers, & battleship to bring
(assuming I can find them in whatever box I stuck them in when I came
to Texas); those are two-player games, so feel welcome to bring
anything multiplayer (even candyland, chutes & ladders, or sorry) --
or a dictionary can be a jumping-off point for balderdash. If anybody
wants to play a card game, I'll probably just watch.

Dear All,
June 4 is my last day at Starbucks, and June 8 is my first day at
Hertz. This transition in my life, plus that it's just been the season
for graduation parties, prompts me to say: Who wants to join me for a
little celebration - "Vi's graduated from Starbucks"?

Since one reason I'm relieved to be done with Starbucks is that I'll
be farther away from sugar & coffee, I don't really want the focus of
the party to be food -- rather, let's have a game night (okay, early
evening).

Let's meet in the Temple Mall food court (near the Macy's, by Niki's
Roma Pizza & Great American Steak) at 6:30 PM Wednesday evening June
6. It can be come & go; feel free to show up at 7:30 or 8, tho' I
imagine I'll be tired by 8:30 PM.

Bring either a game or a conversation topic. (I'll bring a few games
too.) Or bring a dictionary (ever played Balderdash?)

Please do RSVP by Tuesday evening.
Note: (a) I know some of you are very busy; I will NOT be offended if
you don't come.
 (b) If almost no one can make Wed. night, but Monday night at the
same time would work for several people, we could meet then instead.
I'll be busy Tuesday and Thursday night. So, if your answer is "no,"
let me know if you could come Monday, just in case.
