I've talked to some of you, but I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that we are hosting a backyard bible club next week.  Our family is hosting the club at Ferguson Splash Park in East Temple.  This is the park that is on Adams going East toward the Korompai Soccer Fields.  TBC is experimenting with hosting a few clubs in area parks in order to be more missional and outreach oriented.  I am really excited about this because we are going to where the kids are and I know there are kids in this neighborhood who wander the streets unsupervised who will just happen on to our club.

That being said, I would really appreicate it if any of you with elementary or early junior high kids could come minister alongside us.  It is so much fun for the kids always and I am treating it as an opportunity for the boys to serve and go outside of their comfort zone.  They will probably be in the minority racially and as far as knowing people and being amongst their friends.  If any of you has a vision for this kind of ministry, we would love for you to join us.  We have to provide refreshments daily for the kids and I am thinking this could be a really big group.  If any of you have a passion for this area of ministry would you consider helping us financially in providing refreshments?  We would really appreciate it.  Some of the groups that are meeting at parks have two families acting as sponors, so if anyone wants to partner with us, we would love it!

The club is Monday-Thursday, from 1:30-300 pm at Ferguson Park on East Adams.
