[Gospelchristianity] A Dangerous Bill and A Call to Gov. Perry to VETO

Hello Everyone.
 
For the past week, I have been receiving emails from various groups concerned about the language in this bill which could offer CPS powers which would strip Texas parents of their 4th Ammendment rights against unreasonable searches and seizures in regards to our children. Maybe you have received them, too. The laws are already flawed, and parents' rights are being ursurped already in Texas in regards to CPS investigations as you may have already seen...Apparently this bill widens the powers of CPS to remove your children from your home for investigation based on a simple anonymous phone call from a person...perhaps an uninformed person who doesn't understand your personal situation...for example, who doesn't understand your right to educate your children at home...or even a person who holds a grudge and wants to retaliate...CPS would have even more power than it already has to take your children or confiscate their medical records without prior notice or
 a hearing of any sort. 
 
Please read links below and call Gov. Perry urging him to veto SB 1440.  He must do so by the end of the week.
 
In addition, it seems that the way that this bill was passed is a corrupt story of politicians sneaking in language just prior to the end of the legislative session so that no one would have time to actually read the bill in it's final form and appropriately vote against it....This should also disturb us!
