I have a spiral slice ham that has been waiting for a large gathering - I will also bring some kind of bread/rolls to make sandwiches with the ham ( and condiments) if people like.

        This is what we have so far for tomorrow night... If you plan to come, please let us know so we are ready for you!  

        So far we have these things covered....

        1. paper goods

        2. soup

        3. brownies

        4. coffee,tea, water, and apple cider

        5. spinach and artichoke dip...

        If you need ideas for what to bring...here are some suggestions...

        1. Sweets!

        2. Other salty appetizer-like items...

        3. Drinks...The kids like Root Beer, Sprite, and Lemonaid...I know some grown-ups like DP and diet and regular colas

        4. Your 'game face'...several fun games to play...and your singing voice for some karaoke!

        Can't wait to see Jill and John's bells!  Abby wants to know if Emily will be joining you...

          So, I kind of messed up this year when outlining the holiday schedule.  I said that we'd be having a New Year's Party and said that it would be on Friday, but I really meant on Thursday.  I know the Roses were confused by my mixed message, and I hope that everyone wasn't.

          The Madrids have volunteered to host us.  I am thinking that we'll start around 7:00 or so.  I know some will tend to want to come early and leave early and others perhaps the opposite.  Let me know how that sounds.  We'll play games, pray some, and ring in the New Year together.  We'll swap reviews of holiday movies, enjoy some champagne or sparkling juice and a nice wet kiss from your special someone if you are so inclined even if you do get them all the time.

          Bring your favorite snack.
